The Saudi Weightlifting Federation board held its fourth meeting on 22 December 2025 via Zoom, chaired by Mr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, to discuss the key business updates and plans for the 2026 sporting season
The meeting covered a number of main themes, most notably

✅ Presentation of the annual report of the Strategy and Initiatives department and discussion of the targets for the coming phase ..
✅ Review of the annual technical report of the High Performance department
✅ Presentation and discussion of the technical report for para-weightlifting
✅ Approval of the proposed amendments to the human-resources regulations after discussion ..
✅ Approval of the safeguarding policy and the anti-harassment policy as part of the executive administration’s work ..
✅ Presentation and approval of the third-quarter financial report ..
At the close of the meeting, the board stressed the importance of integration between the various departments, praising the efforts made, and emphasising the continuation of work to achieve the federation’s targets and strengthen its progress during the current and upcoming sporting season
