The weightlifting Green team arrives in Antalya, Turkey, to hold its overseas preparation camp, which runs until 8/4/2025, continuing its preparations for a number of upcoming championships — most importantly the World Championship in Peru and the Asian Championship in Kazakhstan. The Greens’ roster included the athletes Mohammed Al-Ajyan (Al-Huda) – Mohammed Al-Halio (Al-Huda) – Mohammed Al-Zouri (Al-Huda) – Mohammed Al-Wabari (Al-Omran) – Ali Al-Eid (Al-Tarf) – Ali Al-Howar (Al-Nour) – Ali Al-Sadah (Al-Nour) – Ali Al-Shayeb (Al-Tarf) – Ahmed Al-Mahdi (Al-Ula) – Abdullah Al-Zubaidi (Al-Ittihad) – Dali Al-Rihan (NEOM) – Mohammed Al-Qarni (Al-Ahli) – Abdullah Al-Muhaimid (Al-Ula) – Ali Khulaitit (Al-Ula) – Youssef Al-Mudarham (Al-Khuwaildiyah) – Mahdi Al-Zuraiqi (Al-Nour) – Rida Al-Zouri (Al-Nour), under the supervision of coach Ahmed Mohammed, assisted by the national coach Jaafar Al-Baqer, with team manager Aqeel Al-Habil, physiotherapist Walid, and performance director Ali Abdullah.
Speaking about the camp, team official Aqeel Al-Habil affirmed that the weightlifting federation is keen to prepare the athletes psychologically and physically to deliver a good level worthy of the nation’s sport in overseas participations, through holding such camps.
